A very large part of our guests travel with us a second, third time, if not more frequently. We do not advertise at all, so their referrals are what drive us on, to create better trips in newer areas. Over the years, our guests have encouraged us to explore new regions, open up new routes, never before offered trips. They are the source of encouragement and the reason why we can do the trips we dreamed of ourselves. Should you need reference or would like to speak with any of our guests who have been on a particular trip with us, we’d be happy to put you in touch with them.

First of all my sincere thanks to Ashok for finding the river and giving me an opportunity to join. Your team has guided us through an enchanting life time experiences. Thanks for the family like support your crew rendered upon us. General Chandan's wisdom, Rana's infectious laughter and jokes, sanjay's stories, glenn' s guidance, dave's daring acts are cherished forever. These boys Pankaj, Sohan, Kanha, Mahipal, Rakesh, Hary and  Vikas are brilliant in their endeavor. The only way we survive these concrete jungles
is by planning and waiting to go back to the hills and rivers. I guess and hope that all my team is also thinking in those lines.

Hauntingly beautiful landscapes, the humbling power of the greatest river in India, adrenaline from amazing white water and the most professionally organisers ever! Aquaterra was the only Indian company to be listed as one of the “Best Adventure Travel Companies on Earth” 2008-09 by Nat Geo and I thoroughly endorse that. The river guides were fantastic - I was reasonably petrified before getting there but they made the whole experience both safe and fun. The food was amazing, everything ran like clockwork and there was a strong sense of camaraderie amongst the team that was infectious. We were lucky to have Chandan with us and his seemingly boundless amount of knowledge about the river, the culture, and pretty much everything made it a very special experience. There isn't a single thing I could think of that they could have done to make this experience better (and I'm normally a fairly critical person). I'm definitely going back for more trips with them and would strongly recommend it, unconditionally!

Debolin Sen, High Altitude Himalayan Traveller, An adventure journey with Aquaterra was always on the radar. The summit of Stok Kangri was on the horizon too. As plans fell into place for reaching her summit, I knew I needed the best to lead and support this important endeavour of mine. Besides I was personally responsible for a majority of first timers (10 out of a group of 14) who would accompany me on the trip. So who better than Aquaterra to be our guiding experts for the summit attempt. Chain SIngh (the expedition lead) and his boys ensured there was never a moment when any of us actually had any complaint whatsoever. The food served every night on trail was top notch, the camp arrangements were thoughtful, assistance to members of my team was always on hand, and esp. when it mattered the most on day 2 from Rumbak to Stok La and then to Mankarmo. That was a very long day for most of them. The build up to the summit night and the actual night itself was another feather in their cap. Allaying fears and apprehensions for the team was critical and this was executed very efficiently. The briefing on what to expect on the summit surge was made clear. Decision making, motivation and leadership on the trail was on display. It was rather impressive I thought.
I'd give them a 5/5 for everything they contributed to our eventual success. And I know I speak for my team as well. And oh! 3 of us summitted and one reached the mountain ridge.

Suraj Matthew (and Sreeram), BangaloreAquaterra is a very professional organisor. Camp is very clean, food is excellent. Thanks to the cooks. Rafting was an ever memorableexperience. We will definately come back every year.

Amrita K. SharmaI am so glad that I made this trip! The camp, the service, the staff, the rafting... all added up to an awesome experience

Arvind Vermani, Hong KongI was expecting this to be a great trip and a life-definingexperience. I had heard a bit from my friends so my expectations werehigh. At the end of the trip, I can safely say that those expectationswere more than met.

Jurgen Kaltenbach, Bangkok, ThailandA break from citylife in an atmosphere that is hard to describe. Wewill keep this place and the people we met in our memories and lookingforward to be back again.

Amir Kothori, KolkataFirst time with Aquaterra, but they compel you to come again andagain by their unexpectedly friendly and homely service and courtesyand always ready to listen guides.

Nigel Gifford OBE FRGS, Founder High & Wild AdventureHaving personally adventured and explored around the world for the last 35 years well off the beaten path, and as the founder of High & Wild ,the UK based adventure company, known for managing some very unusual adventure in remote parts of the world, I cannot recommend Vaibhav and his team highly enough. Having brought four UK based clients with me to raft the Brahmaputra under Aquaterra's guidance, the leadership was awesome, the organisation first class, the team / client management superb and the food spoilt the tastes buds and wrecked any thought of losing weight by other means than paddling very hard!

Peter Knowles, whitewater guru and international guidebook publisherOur team of international kayakers have done hundreds of river trips on all continents. The planning, information, organisation, river and camp skills were faultless and in our professional opinion, the trip could not have been better run by any company in the World !"

Gerry Moffatt, Zanskar expedition Hungry??? Chew on the scenery........ you've got a great team,

Jessie Curell, Zanskar expedition Thank YOU for the wonderful trip that was relaxing as well as exciting and fun. You've got a good thing goin' on there. I would like to have some more exciting rapids, but I guess that'll have to wait for the Brahma Putra.......

Michael Jantzen, Spiti tourJust to let you know that I arrived sound and safe back home in San Francisco. Thanks again for organizing this trip and assigning Dorje & crew. Please use my name and e-mail for references.

Laxmi Lobo, Tons trek and raft tripwould still say that the "feel good" factor with your team was extremely comforting. The organisation was impeccable, I would blindly reccomend you to all my friends and I want to most certainly try another trek/raft combination sometime this year too.

shivranjani rajye, Bhagirathi expedition .. I never did thank you for the wonderful bhagirathi trip-you lot managed to put the colour back in my cheeks...everyone thought i was in love! will see you soon, when i need my faith in humanity reinstated

Tine, Alaknanda expeditionOur group arrived in Denmark on tuesday and it seems like years since we where rafting on Ganga with you guys. Our trip has been magnificent and for me personal it have been the best thing I have ever done.

Amitabh Jhingan, Ernst & Young, Camp Silver SandsOn behalf of everybody who went just wanted to thank you guys for a lovely 3 days, it was great and everybody still cant stop talking about it.

Frederik Reimers, Managing Editor, Paddler magazineThe Brahmaputra ranks in the top five of the World's great raft expeditions, joining the pantheon of the Grand Canyon, Selway, Cotahuasi and Karnali. It's big water at its best. I still have the cord around my wrist so that when I'm slaving away in the office I can look down and remember that I recently did something really great.

Peter Weingarten, BrahmaputraThanks for arranging an awesome trip on the Brahmaputra. The combination of monster world class whitewater, incredible scenery, and an untouched area of the planet make this one of the great whitewater adventures anywhere. Add to that the great food, the comfortable camping, and a group of participants from diverse corners of the world and you have one great trip!

Ranjan Pal, expeditioner, Brahmaputra"A real voyage of exploration and self-discovery which hit all the highs of expedition travel - and that too, in a virtually untouched and truly spectacular part of India."

Lara Tipper & Paul Skinny Jones, world’s tallest kayaking coupleThank you so much for the trip, we all had a fantastic time, it rates as one of our best trips yet!

Richard DeChant, Owner, Hyside InflatablesI have always considered your company top notch and value your efforts to explore new whitewater.

The Markhams, Spiti tourAustralian Aborigines use a term, "dreamtime". I feel we were in dreamtime while we were in India. Overall, our experience in Northern India was very memorable and we have all expressed the desire to return to India a second/third time. Our thanks to you for running such a value for money service and wish you well for the future.

Paul Allen, ESPN, Spiti tourI know that I speak for all of us when I say we had a wonderful trip, and the guys were absolutely impossible to fault. Dorje was an excellent and competent guide, who adjusted to the problems caused by the rain brilliantly. And the food... I'm surprised we didn't all return home 20kg heavier! Exactly how Govinder made cakes with a couple of gas burners will always be a mystery to me. I can't remember ever eating that well while camping before. All my friends back here are jealous, and I wouldn't hesistate to recommend Aquaterra to them. Smooth, professional, and a lot of fun. Great stuff!

Jost Wagner, GTZ, Camp Silver Sands...the atmosphere in the office is fantastic, everybody seems to be very happy… people thanked me already for their trip of a lifetime...It was a good trip, thanks.

Liz Honore, American Embassy SchoolYour entire group is a truly professional bunch and I’m so glad that I took Doug's advice to go with the best.

Ashish Rajpal, iDiscoveri Camps, Camp Silver SandsThanks for that excellent weekend in Rishikesh. You are a warm and excellent host - and I was particularly impressed with your deftness with kids.

Bhavna.Gupta, Camp Silver Sandsvaibhav! we had a fantastic time at your camp. havent stopped gushing about it since we were back - if anything people are avoiding us with a passion saying here come some disgustingly happy rafters!! well there is something like too much fun and we certainly found that out!

Manish GuptaVaibhav/Solil,I had been in touch with you sometime in Sept. for a rafting trip. While I finally took one of the cheaper packages 'cos it suited my budget more, I was quite impressed with your set-up and professionalism and reputation your camp had in the region. Which is why I recommended your packages very strongly to this friend who's going down to india in December

Jim Sugerman, Spiti tour..we thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I never felt like you skimped in anyway nor wanted to do anything but cater to us. The crew was solicitous but unobtrusive.

Ladakh TrekSolil , I have not had the time to tell you how much I appreciated the trek you organised for us . Your staff is very professional and kind. Everything was well organised and we all enjoy a lot including the children. The trek was hard and tough , just the challenge we wanted . The camp sites were beautiful, the food excellent .
Christine Van Nieuwenhuyse, World Food Programme

Sonal DesaiDear Solil, Vaibhav, Anvesh and Rana,I and my family really enjoyed the trip to Gaumukh and Tapovan. It was made particularly pleasant by Anvesh and Rana's efforts and their knowledge of the area. I know our sons and Ben and Eugene will always remember this trip.
I also want to thank Solil and Vaibhav for the promptness with which they handled all the myriad details. Hemant is determined to come back and go rafting with you so I am sure we will keep in touch.
Sonal and family did a trek to the source of the Bhagirathi with us in 2001. True to her word, Hemant signed up for the Brahmaputra expedition in 2003
