A very large part
of our guests travel with us a second, third time, if not more
frequently. We do not advertise at all, so their referrals are
what drive us on, to create better trips in newer areas. Over
the years, our guests have encouraged us to explore new regions,
open up new routes, never before offered trips. They are the
source of encouragement and the reason why we can do the trips
we dreamed of ourselves. Should you need reference or would like to speak with any
of our guests who have been on a particular trip with us,
wed be happy to put you in touch with them.
"Having personally adventured and explored around the world for the last 35 years well off the beaten path, and as the founder of High & Wild ,the UK based adventure company, known for managing some very unusual adventure in remote parts of the world, I cannot recommend Vaibhav and his team highly enough. Having brought four UK based clients with me to raft the Brahmaputra under Aquaterra's guidance, the leadership was awesome, the organisation first class, the team / client management superb and the food spoilt the tastes buds and wrecked any thought of losing weight by other means than paddling very hard! "
Nigel Gifford OBE FRGS, Founder High & Wild Adventure
Our
team of international kayakers have done hundreds of river
trips on all continents. The planning, information, organisation,
river and camp skills were faultless and in our professional
opinion, the trip could not have been better run by any company
in the World !" Peter

Chew on the scenery........ you've got a great team, Gerry Moffatt, Zanskar expedition 2003 Thank
YOU for the wonderful trip that was relaxing as well as exciting
and fun. You've got a good thing goin' on there.
I would like to have some more exciting rapids, but I guess
that'll have to wait for the Brahma Putra....... Jessie Curell, Zanskar expedition,

to let you know that I arrived sound and safe back home in
San Francisco. Thanks again for organizing this trip and assigning
Dorje & crew. Please use my name and e-mail for references. Michael Jantzen, Spiti tour, 2003 I
would still say that the "feel good" factor with
your team was extremely comforting. The organisation was impeccable,
I would blindly reccomend you to all my friends and I want
to most certainly try another trek/raft combination sometime
this year too. Laxmi Lobo, Tons trek and raft trip,

since we where rafting on Ganga with you guys. Our trip has
been magnificent and for me personal it have been the best

Brahmaputra ranks in the top five of the World's great raft
expeditions, joining the pantheon of the Grand Canyon, Selway,
Cotahuasi and Karnali. It's big water at its best. I still
have the cord around my wrist so that when I'm slaving away
in the office I can look down and remember that I recently
did something really great. Frederik Reimers, Managing Editor, Paddler
magazine Thanks
for arranging an awesome trip on the Brahmaputra. The
combination of monster world class whitewater, incredible
scenery, and an untouched area of the planet make this one
of the great whitewater adventures anywhere. Add to
that the great food, the comfortable camping, and a group
of participants from diverse corners of the world
and you have one great trip! Peter Weingarten, Brahmaputra 2002
"A
real voyage of exploration and self-discovery which hit all
the highs of expedition travel - and that too, in a virtually
untouched and truly spectacular part of India." Ranjan Pal, expeditioner, Brahmaputra,

Australian
Aborigines use a term, "dreamtime". I feel
we were in dreamtime while we were in India. Overall,
our experience in Northern India was very memorable and we
have all expressed the desire to return to India a second/third
time.
Our thanks to you for running such a value for money service
and wish you well for the future. The Markhams, Spiti tour, 2002
I
know that I speak for all of us when I say we had a wonderful
trip, and the guys were absolutely impossible to fault. Dorje
was an excellent and competent guide, who adjusted to the
problems caused by the rain brilliantly. And the food... I'm
surprised we didn't all return home 20kg heavier! Exactly
how Govinder made cakes with a couple of gas burners will
always be a mystery to me. I can't remember ever eating that
well while camping before. All my friends back here are jealous,
and I wouldn't hesistate to recommend Aquaterra to them. Smooth,
professional, and a lot of fun. Great stuff!
Thanks so much Paul Allen, ESPN, Spiti tour, 2002

Thanks for that excellent weekend in Rishikesh. You are a
warm and excellent host - and I was particularly impressed
with your deftness with kids. Ashish Rajpal, iDiscoveri Camps, Camp
Silver Sands, 2002 vaibhav!
we had a fantastic time at your camp. havent stopped gushing
about it since we were back - if anything people are avoiding
us with a passion saying here come some disgustingly happy
rafters!! well there is something like too much fun and we
certainly found that out! Bhavna.Gupta, Camp Silver Sands, 2001
Vaibhav/Solil,
I had been in touch with you sometime in Sept. for a rafting
trip. While I finally took one of the cheaper packages
'cos it suited my budget more, I was quite impressed with
your set-up and professionalism and reputation your camp had
in the region. Which is why I recommended your packages very
strongly to this friend who's going down to india in December. Manish Gupta ..we
thoroughly enjoyed the trip. I never felt like you skimped
in anyway nor wanted to do anything but cater to us.
The crew was solicitous but unobtrusive. Jim Sugerman, Spiti tour, 2001
Solil
, I have not had the time to tell you how much I appreciated
the trek you organised for us . Your staff is very professional
and kind. Everything was well organised and we all enjoy a
lot including the children. The trek was hard and tough ,
just the challenge we wanted . The camp sites were beautiful,
the food excellent . Christine Van Nieuwenhuyse, World Food

Dear
Solil, Vaibhav, Anvesh and Rana,
I and my family really enjoyed the trip to Gaumukh and Tapovan.
It was made particularly pleasant by Anvesh and Rana's efforts
and their knowledge of the area. I know our sons and Ben and
Eugene will always remember this trip.
I also want to thank Solil and Vaibhav for the promptness
with which they handled all the myriad details. Hemant is
determined to come back and go rafting with you so I am sure
we will keep in touch. Sonal Desai
Sonal and family did a trek to the source of the Bhagirathi
with us in 2001. True to her word, Hemant signed up for the
Brahmaputra expedition in 2003 Also
operating along the Chadar route is Aquaterra Adventures,
one of the best Indian adventure operators, which runs a wide
range of tours and treks customized to suit your personal
interests and abilities. Working with highly experienced and
knowledgeable guides, Aquaterra is possibly the best choice
for discerning travelers looking to raft the Indus or Zanskar
rivers in Ladakh or the Beas in Himachal Pradesh. You can
also combine trekking and rafting trips, or opt for a unique
bicycle camping expedition. FrommersIndia Guide, February 2004
